Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy a welcome drink and orientation.

| Day 3: Friday - Madrid City Tour |
|
|
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Madrid. Drive along the Grand Via through the Opera District, Plaza de Colon and view the Royal Palace. Pass through Puerto del Sol Plaza and Plaza España with its monument to the author Cervantes. The tour will end at the Prado Museum, where you will be able to view works of art by famous artists such as El Greco, Velázquez, and Ribera.
Afternoon at leisure or you can choose our optional tour (Toledo Tour). Toledo is a "Museum City" of great artistic beauty. Former capital of Spain and one of the oldest cities in Europe, Toledo has magnificent examples of architecture from different periods, making it one of the leading artistic cities of the country. In Toledo visit the most famous monuments, such as St. Tome Church, which houses El Grecos The Burial of Count Orgaz" and the Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue. Also admire its famous hand-crafted work, the "Damasquinado."

| Day 4: Saturday - Segovia Sightseeing en route to Salamanca |
|
|
Cross the rugged Sierra de Guadarrama to Segovia, famous for its Alcazar and the 2000-year-old Roman aqueduct. Continue to the walled and turreted city of Avila, where St. Theresa founded the order of the Carmelites. Drive to Salamanca for an orientation tour and visit to the Baroque Plaza Mayor.

| Day 5: Sunday - Travel to Lisbon |

|
Depart for Portugal, via the Serra da Estrela mountain range. Drive towards Castelo Branco before arriving at Fatima, site of the famous religious visions that occurred in 1917, when an apparition of Mary appeared to three peasant children. Here, visit the beautiful Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary before continuing to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.
Evening at leisure or you can choose our optional tour (Fado Dinner). Travel to the famous Barrio Alto district and join one of the popular performances of local songs and traditional dances accompanied by a gentle guitar playing Portuguese melodies. Enjoy dinner with wine before a brief drive through the illuminated city.

| Day 6: Monday - Lisbon City Tour |

Morning tour of Lisbon. View the Belem Tower and visit the Cathedral of Lisbon. Enjoy the elegant Liberdade Avenue and take the opportunity to view the Monument of Discoveries. Walk through the cobbled alleys of Alfama, the old fishermens quarter, or you can choose our optional tour (Half Day Sintra Tour), Enjoy an afternoon tour that includes a scenic drive along the Estoril coast with a short stop in Cascais. Then continue to Sintra, an UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the towns Romantic architecture. On arrival, visit the Sintra Royal Palace, an 15th-century royal residence,containing one of the largest tile collections in Portugal. Then enjoy some free time in the Village Historical Center. Pickup details to be advised locally.
